Now, back to the game waiting. I heard that it's getting 8-9's from all the reviewing sites. That alone says it's going to be good.

Edit: Don't people do that in real life all the time? I mean it's not as easy as it is in the game, but our actions do decide who lives or dies in certain situations.

I mean, yeah, I'm not going to deny how excited I am about the game. SMT is always an amazing game.
I guess you know... the whole apocalypse-esque story.
I will just have to suck it up. I'll probably suck it up.

Let's see...I'm assuming that you started with Persona right? Shin Megami Tensai, I mean the actual series that is Shin Megami Tensai 1+2+Nocturne has always been about making choices, and who can make those choices, with Law versus Chaos. Devil Survivor is about these choices on a more personal level, and some of these choices are big ones to make.

Persona on the other hand, is standing against adversity, the bonds of the soul, and the choice of doing what's right even though it involves taking on forces much stronger then the brotangonists.

 

the whole thing on choices that leave permanent scars is in valkyrie profile: covenent of the plume too. sacrificing people gives good stuff (depending who you sacrifice) but you lose that person. persona though is more flexible though. you can make so many choices and still have the person there. persona 4 wont have you lose someone. you can let them die during the fog but thats a gameover. if what your saying that devil survivor will make big changes for the choices you make, then i must play it once its out

 

Six endings, two badass endings, two good endings, and two bad endings, each with their own special demons/fusions/and items for each path.

 

niiiiiiiiiiice. gotta play it. persona 4 had i think about 3 same bad endings and the other 3 that extend to their own ways. the true ending with world izunagi. and the others if you went past the hospital scene and the other if you kill the giant eye. or maybe the giant eye was before the hospital. dont remember perfectly.

 

There was a True, Good, and Bad ending.

You got a Bad if you failed to figure out who was the true culprit.

You got a Good if you finished the game without maxing all S.Ranks.

You got a True if you had all Ranks maxed, and finished the last dungon.

 

not quite true. i got to world izunagi and i only got S rank for a few people. unless theres something after that too. then yea you got a point.

 

You could be right. I seem to remember there being True/Good/Bad though.

true ending is when you summon out world izunagi. good ending is when you solve all cases and its a bright day and everyone is happy and such. you get multiple options to go home and go to the train. bad ending is when inaba gets shrouded in fog and you leave the place. i still wonder, who was it to be exact in the beginning? when your running in the foggy place that is the last dungeon. you were chasing someone. was that izanagi? so the others that also got the ability to go into the tv mustve also seen her, no?
