Woo! Just fused myself a Unique Demon. Deity Thor. At level 16, he has St 18 and Vi 11. Awakening is a pretty awesome Auto Skill, increasing the effect of MP Skills by 50%, even if it's useless for him. Thankfully, the ElementAquans in the team gets his Ma buffed from 14 to 21 (basically) during battle. So his Dances are remarkably effective.

As for Wendigo... He's a lot easier than any other mid-boss. By the third day, you'll be fighting even stronger Wendigos - and around six or seven of them per battle.

 

That's wrong.
In RPG games,you can't dramaticallylower the game difficulty rating by just leveling up your characters.
After a story battle,you need to prepare your characters for the next battle..and you should know that,after you progress through the game..the enemies will get stronger,right?and you should take your time to level up your characters,just like every RPG gamers do...

Not dramatically, sure, but it does make life easier. Even just levelling everyone up twice can increase your chances of survival by a great deal. The best way to dramatically increase your survival, though, is to always get the best possible Skills and Demons for the job. It doesn't matter how high you're levelled, you won't get far without the proper Skills and Demons.

Leveling up doesn't mean you change the difficulty.
It's all depend on your playing style just like Wintrale said.

Yuppers. He's a Unique Demon. His stats are beastly. He's insanely slow with practically no magic capability, but he packs one hell of a punch and he can take a few as well.

 

Give me the fusion recipe.. ;D

 

Get yourself an Avatar Heqet and a Snake Makara.

No, 1 PM. I made that post about leveling at 2 AM CST (-06 GMT)

 

It is surprising how much one or two levels make a difference. My first wendigo attempt was at level 8, lost, came back at level 10 and took him down not easily but wasn't hard with non of my people dieing.

 

Well, so far so good... Hero now has two Unique Demons on his team. That Deity Thor I mentioned earlier, now with Mighty Hit and Pierce, and a Tyrant King Frost.

Media, Charm and Devotion. Use them as much as possible. Baldr won't move off his spot, but he will use that Vampire attack every three turns. The best plan is to get your three main teams to crush the other Demons while Yuzu heals everyone as often as possible. Then, when Baldr is all that's left, get Yuzu to stand behind Hero. She HAS to heal him every single turn, preferably to full health. Baldr's weak against the standard attack, so just keep hitting him with that.

Blitzkrieg is a very handy Auto-Skill to have for this fight. If you want to keep Hero alive for as long as possible, get him two Demons that have high HP and Paladin Spirit (or whatever it's called). As long as they're alive, Hero won't die.

 

I just got Thor, and man. I freaking love his Racial. I use him and Angel for her Blood Wine that restores mana, and he throws down thunder dances and hits people with his mighty hammer.

 

just hit lvl 31 and got snake quezacotl, He's a thunder dragon... WHY IS HE WEAK AGAINST THUNDER. :S

Anyway i can't wait til i get babd catha he was awesome in lucifers call

 

this is one friggin game been playing it for awhile now........didn't even get a thought about getting bored
