my school had a member of senior management who was homophobic. He tried to get a gay guy kicked out (citing his behaviour as the reason). He wasn't someone I got along with, but I was pretty pissed about it, because I knew it was a lie (there were people with far worse behaviour who seemed immune from being expelled). Thankfully my entire yeargroup rallied and with the help of our English teacher (who was extremely liberal, especially for a catholic, but also thankfully on the board of governors) who managed to intervene and block the attempt.

Big changes can happen in small times, i'm 15/16 and my school isn't as bad as that, they just tease homosexuals

I would hope that no person gets expeled for being anti-gay. I think it is a disaster that people be denied freedom of speech. I have always found that talking is better than hitting. Being anti-gay means you are at least posing some sort of argument, let them argue.

It was hard, was barely standing at the end of it -_-
I took down 2, manged to get another one down and then I got booted in the balls and then they started smashing into me all at once etc.
They all ran away like scared bitches when they were finished kicking me and shit while I was down though.

    Anyways back on topic...

I don't have a problem with homosexual people. I mean it's not like being gay makes you less human or something.
I don't see a problem with people like that getting married- it's their decision.

I hate society, everyone is going on about "human rights" and "freedom". So why do they make such a big thing out of people of the same sex wanting to marry?

I kinda feel the same on that as the child is likely to end up gay as homosexuals are more cultural than an average family

I think that marriage is a very personal decision, as is what to do with one's own sexual orientation, and I think that the government should have nothing to do with these choices.

If a man has his reasons for why he believe this is right for him, why should I try to judge that person?

I think a person is born homosexual, you can't learn to be gay. Atleast that's what my former colleague at work told me.

That's a rumour that's been falsely spread, it's like the theory of fate

The guy who told me that was gay.

I know I posted that here on another homosexual discussion thread and in a way yes, a homosexual could be born as such, even without environmental factors, especially if it runs in the family.

The whole gayness is a life choice thing isn't entirely true & yet it isn't entirely wrong as well. In the end homosexuality should be treated in a case per case basis, formulating a generalisation just won't do.

If people were born gay that would make it a medical issue and not a mental choice

I thought we were all born asexual.
