There have been several Anime to "live action" transitions my friend. 8)

Meteor Garden from "Hanayori Dango" which was also made into a Japanese live action series
Grand Teacher Onizuka
Gokusen
Sailor Moon (LAME!)
Death Note
And there was an 80's Chinese (Taiwanes?) DragonBall movie as well.

And there was an Ultraman Anime as well. 8)

By the way, Sentai Doesn't refer to every live action series. It only refers to the Japanese heroes that are unique to them, like the Ultramen, the Kamen Riders, the Metal heroes & such.

sailor moons crap(the female race are really dumb to fall for an anime like this)
havent even watched the anime of death note
and i think i saw that real life dbz but i think that was a commercial. i want a series.
i want naruto and one piece real life remakes

 

I beg to differ, Sailormoon was Awesome!

I loved it, not just because the girls wore one piece bathing suit uniforms, but because of the author's clever use astrology, astronomy, mythology & the Japanese ideals of the planets' properties.

 

Sailormoon anime and manga is awesome, Sailormoon live action is simply torture..... i got nightmare for 3 nights since i saw the trailer..

the only good Sailor is Sailor Mars (really look alike).... the rest is a joke....

 

Wasn't the live action Sailor Mars actress kinda chubby? I mean her belly's a bit bulgy.

I just remembered, there was also a laugh riot (because it looked horrible) Sailormoon theatrical version in Japan once ;D

 

Did I mention I hate live actions of animes....

Sentais are good but Live Actions are sometimes too ridiculous....

 

now, now not all Anime -> Live action are bad, there are couple of them are good.

i personally love Great Teacher Onizuka and Young File Kindaichi

 

Don't forget "You are Under Arrest", loved that one very much

 

oh i dont know there is a live action version of You are Under arrest ^_^

Live action of anime is a let down. No originality what so ever only revised script.

kaineru, did you get the mp3 files of Kousoku Sentai Turboranger? The songs are memorizable.

btw anyone here know Chibi Maruko Chan? it appear it have live action version...i wonder if its any good..... although live action version of Maruko is cute...
