*Reads the long chat above, shrugs, and yawns* Wait a second! Why does Calvin sound so pessimistic all of a sudden?! And the majority have the right to change their government as they see fit. Policies and national agenda have a direct link with the people who embody the country. Like where I live the U.S. favors the majority under any given circumstance. Schooling does have a lot to do with who you are as an individual, not because you are bright and rich, but because you have taken the time to become a well-rounded-jack-of-all-trades-kind-of-person, who is willing to reason with more than one type of race and be willing to balance out the differences that divide us humans. Common knowledge is available to almost everyone. With this in mind I am still in school because I know that I am not wise enough... *Shuns myself*
He's always pessimistic/depressed about everything. You should see him on some other threads. I think he needs a therapist...Or some chocolate. xD
Well, without school, I'd probably just stay home and eat Hot Pockets until my body becomes a horribly misshapen 400 pound blob.
You can always do what i did. Just quit school. And then you get to shovel asphalt, which leaves the plant at or above 300 F. But the best time to do it is in the summer, where the 100F temperature hits you from above, and the hot asphalt is right underneath your boots. Yeah, school is definitely a waste of time...
Yeah. It is where I spread all the crazy stuff I learn on the internet. So, my verdict is school is not useless nor is it a waste of time.
I hate school because 1. You make things for "nothing" 2. You MUST learn things you think "Suck my ass" with (example: history. Doesn't interest me at all.)
you're the stupid one. Consider this: The holocaust was not prevented because at the time no-one believed a human being was capable of genocide on such a scale. If we had not learnt that lesson what kind of a state would the world be in now?
