not only do you need saves but check points, i was playing dead rising last night for like 2 hours, i didn't think to save or could even find a save point. then i died and had to do it all over again, its put me right off now
FFIII DS has no save points within dungeons and basically the only place you can save is on the world map. i usually don't play FFIII DS unless I am plugged in.
This problem is being notice by many companies so some RPGs have many save points. However they have a ridiculous number of them.
Savestates for the win! although every now and then they F you up so you really need to save on every slot just to be safe. But lets get real people, if you're a real gamer you shouldnt need to save, you sit and play and dont move untill the game is finished, and as for dieng? pffft that just means your not good enough to be playing that game, give up now before epic failure sets in
try playing super mario frustration. it's meant for savestates... by the way, that youtube video of that guy playing it was absolutely hysterical!
sometimes saving anywhere is nice. just don't save in a spot where you always die. (like don't save during a boss while you have low health)
