I did the whats-his-name-bear's special.....
But it wasn't really special looking or anything

 

My enemies are done in one move, the finishing techs are useless

 

HOW DO I SPECIAL!?

Ugh, so far i've been finding this game way too easy, the currently at earth tower at like around level 40, so far the enemies have been doing ziltch to me, while i've been destroying them, and destroying bosses in one turn with my special. I find special's easy to do, just fortify or whatever moves with each other so they link, then i just keep pressing X, which always leads right into a special on a boss.

 

At earth tower (Boss is the big face) I was at lvl 30 >.>

guess i accidently overleved while trying to get money and cp, all of kyrie's skills are maxed out that i have

 

Meh.... Game doesn't even require grinding and you guys still waste time with it >_>
Normaly at lvl 40~50 is near endgame at most RPGs

 

I wasn't trying to sound angry, it's just that most people these days tend to look at graphics more then anything, and they don't see the game as a whole, but I agree that the game is good as a whole.

@sylar, I'm in the same area you're in with the same levels and such. Of course, I wouldn't be so high if I hadn't gotten caught in the Chamber of Knights, trying to figure the pattern puzzle out.

I thought maybe i put it on easy accidently when i started the game, went to new game, and realized there weren't any difficulty options.

 

Nah, the game was easy in the Japanese version, they could've made it a bit harder, even though they did rebalance the difficulty.

 

Muffy and Taupy. I severely disliked Rajiv, but the game pretty much throws it in your face that "hey, you're not supposed to like this guy." So far Naja is decent though.

 

Rhi'a and Agan. Rhi'a gets a 17hit in one combo chain, pain. Agan with his 12hit. Both imba.

 

Agh... Lupus Rex is hard...

Help me! Oh, and what is this "Fortify" you talk about?

Is it a skill?

 

No, upgrade a skill to 7 with CP and you can fortify it, making it better.

 

Fortify appears whenever you level a skill up to 7 and you get to choose between that and adding +2 to custom gauge(whatever the hell that is...)

Basically, if you fortify the basic flurry attacks, you can chain them all together to do them all at once instead of separate actions.

For example, you can take Kyrie's one-two slice, staccato chop and whirlwind attack and combine them all together into one big attack and only use up one point of your gauge up at the top. This is a beautiful thing since Kyrie's flurry combo is going to be doing 10 hits each time you fire it off and you get an extra action with any multiples of 12 in regards to hits. He'll go from 10 to 20 to 30 and so on and so forth and he'll be getting extra attacks until he gets enough of those little balls and then he'll have to wrap it up with a finishing attack, or if you prefer, you can use his ultimate blood skill or life skill provided you've learned it.

So basically, if you want to rape face, fortify your flurry skills.

 

Oh, someone want to tell me how to do spoiler tags real quick? I have something I want for one of the dungeons.

 

So lemme get this straight,

I go to customize,
I level up one-two slash to level seven
I'll have an option to fortify
That's it?

But my One-Two Slash's max level is 6!

 

after you beat lupus rex you can get max level 7
