Rykin continues! Pokémon Heart Gold translation project

Are you sure it is a bug and not AP? He doesn't mention anti freeze anywhere. If your flashcard/emulator can play the clean rom past that part you can consider a bug. I'm not anywhere near this place you mentioned so i can't test it myself.

 

I tried playing other roms it works fine.

 

There are a few freezes in some areas, including Slowpoke Well (When trying to battle the Rocket Grunts, freezes).

 

Other roms may have less or different kinds of AP so to make sure test it with the clean rom (no patches), just rename the clean rom to match the name of the one you've playing to continue using your save file. If it fails the exact same way it is more likely to be a bug, anything different is probably your flashcard/emulator not running properly the patched rom.

 

Hey do you notice that the ROM comes out before the game is released? He said that he will stop the project a week before March 14th. The ROM may come 2 days before (March 12th).

People please stop complaining about freezes/crashes...This is by far the BEST patch around and is a great job, Kudos to you Rykin!! 8)

I appreciate the time and effort you put through to a game that is not far from release...Keep things in mind people, you are not even PAYING for these games so stop complaining about why it isn't in English and when it will be 100% - It'll be 100% WHEN IT COMES ON IN MARCH, SO GET IT THEN, the rom, the game, whatever floats your boat. I personally am buying this game because GSC were my favorites of the franchise and want to support them and this release because for all we know this will be it for Pokemon...I don't see a NEW generation coming out though I would like to, I just don't think it'll happen...only other titles and remakes and such but I think it's nearing the end so support them and buy the game!! This game is going to be WORTH IT!! >__<'

Again, just being blunt, don't complain like it's anyone's fault, it's not like YOU can go and do a better job translating...if not then go ahead and stop relying on other people while sitting around...if not, hey it's near the end of January so why not wait for HG/SS?? =)

I swear there is really an error at the exit of tohjo falls, I did tried two emulators still, the same thing happens.

 

Oh, please, don't even waste your time with the post. Get your facts straighten out - NOBODY READS WHAT OTHER PEOPLE POST. All they care about is the patch and the process of getting the game patched and playing it. I believe Rykin is still continuing the project. Let him take his time.

 

I'm going to buy an acekard 2i soon. Does the cheats work with the patched game on the Acekard 2i as I have problems with my R4i gold

 

You'll have to do as TirithRR says here https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=32468.0 with me (acekard 2i, AKAIO 1.5.1, latest cheats database) i can only enable cheats with KazoWar's patch (up to V7).

 

I am pleased to say that the cheats work on this patch!

Hey good job you're doing, I'm playing it right now!

I uploaded pokefix to megaupload, this is to fix the blackscreen/freezing when using No%gba. Oh and turn the sound of the emulator on, turning it off might freeze the game randomly.

When will the Englsih Rom come out? Will the Anti-piracy patch work for the USA version or will there be a new one?
