Nonetheless, they go and dump CoD on the day of its release. =P
Although it might be a factor of obtaining the actual game to dump. Judging by the pace Gamestop shops provide people with RF3 copies, it REALLY might take a while... =////

I also LOL'd at the post, nice one XD
Roll on RF3! I loved the previous 2 and Frontier was fantastic in keeping with the spirit of RF so hopefully this one will be as good as the people above are saying!
Might even start the JP version and rename my save file when this one gets dumped XD

    Comparing the dates...
RF: [J] - five days BEFORE the release. [US] dumped in a day. [E] took almost two weeks, but I swear I could understand the lack of enthusiasm about a release with completely cropped voice-overs.
RF2: [US] dumped in two days, [E] dumped on the day of the release. [J] seems to be released several days BEFORE the release. o_O
RF3: [J] dumped a day before the release again. XDDDD

Provided that Gamefaqs ISN'T pulling my leg about release dates, I really wish US versions were dumped at the speed of JAP ones. =)))))))))))

Hmm, you mean this might work?
I have advanced quite a bit in my Japanese file. Although I'll most probably begin a new one in English.

I didn't like RF2 playing as the kid got annoying.

Yeah I've played a couple this way. The main one being the Pokemon HG and SS games that were translated on the JP ROM and you could just transfer the save over to the US or EU ROM by ensuring that the ROM name exactly matched the save file name. I've never come up against any problems when doing this anyways but my technical experience with these things is limited. There may or may not be repercussions in other games. Not from what I've read though.

The reason HG and SS work this way is because the games were meant to be compatible between every language. After all, you can connect and trade or battle with people from anywhere in the world, so there has to be some kind of back and forth of data in either language. What happens is that the ability to read and display other languages (not to mention where all the data pointers look to) is identical in each version, which is why my Japanese version can use my English save file, and just replaces any default text with its own. English lettered nicknames remain the same.

I'm not certain, but I don't believe RF3 will work the same way unless some global Wi-Fi is involved, like in HG/SS or Yu-Gi-Oh.

I dunno if it'll be dumped for a while. I've been waiting, and I went to the store today and apparently they are sold out. And they are sold out in the other closest one in my area. :<
I want this game so bad.

Surely if it is sold out it mean's it is popular hence dumped sooner?

really want this game to be dumped soon- because i live in a PAL region RF1 came out about 2.5 years after release, 2 doesnt come out till next year, frontier was the only one to come out the same date as America

I played Rune Factory 2, and then when I saw the third game was going to come out, i thought "Wait... Rune Factory 3?! I have only played one RF game!". And then I noticed I haven't played the first game. o_O. I tried playing it then, but my save data got corrupted on my second day playing the game... oh well. I guess the corruption problem only exists in the first game, because I played RF 2 and nothing happened. So I will play RF 3, waiting for it to come out.
