Do you have firmware 1.17a12 installed?

That'll work only if you rename it correctly. Sample: SoulSilver(U).nds and SoulSilver(U).sav

Two things:
1. Xenophobia dumped the ROM, not BAHAMUT.
2. johrie only uploaded the PrePatched rom, he is not the maker. Rudolph is te maker of this one

Did you use the AR code?

The PrePatched EUR version is working.

I PUTTED THE AR CODE DUDE MY GAME FROZE WEN YRA WAS TEACHING HOW TO CATCH POKEMON AND I USE NO$GBA!!V2.6A I USED THE AR CODE 2

The patch patches my pokemon soul silver(U) ..but when i go to play it, it loads and freezes. I have a TTDSI chip.

Yes, I do. I just used your pre patched one, but is it possible to work the AR codes... The game freezes when I put them in.

Guys, please help, none of this is working for me! I've got an R4 card and I've tried downloading both the pre-patched versions and just the patch but no matter what, I still get the black screen after chosing my name. I've just downloaded an update on to my R4 card thinking maybe that was it, but still nothing. Am I being really dense here? I've been trying to play this game for two days

i've already played SS before 1 month. but at that time froze game once every 10 min!!!

after the patch patched my SS rom and entered AR codes, it never stop on no$gba 2.6a!!!

Hiya

I've signed up after being very very impressed with the user-friendly attitude on here!

I'm a DS owner and try to buy the legal copies of games when I feel they are deserving of the pricetag. With Pokemon SoulSilver, I was wary of splashing out on the same old game again.

After reading this thread, the sticky etc. I managed to get SS working on No$gba, meaning I could "try before I buy".

This website is an excellent resource for someone like me. I know the game companies are against piracy and I understand that - but if they offered a facility like this on the DS where you could trial the game then they'd make a lot more sales.

Really top work and ingenuity - thanks so much for your technical expertise and it's appreciated by me

Well, I just downloaded the pre-patched HG ROM and it works great on my R4.

Don't know if this will help, as I haven't tested it - but I found a second code for HeartGold to stop the freeze but I haven't tested it because I'm on SoulSilver.
