Don't blame it on the game.

And your Xbox is going to RRoD later and stay that way.

Yeah, what Natalie said is the truth, it will only get worse from here on out, eventually to the point where its just plain dead.

Just call Microsoft, tell them it RRoD'd. Regardless of warranty, they'll replace it for free. Far easier then dealing with it until it fully dies.

Just bring it back to the library and get a new one since you borrowed it

RRoD is usually cause by XBOXes not getting enough air circulation. Put it on its side on top of old textbooks.

..No, it's just faulty hardware. Sometimes that's the cause but it all comes down to faulty hardware.

If it gets RROD(which will be soon unfortunately), just unplug the power cord from the 360 and the input then plug it back in.
If that doesn't work, try to turn the 360 upside down(CD Drive should be facing downwards)
and hold the console down and turn it on.
I tried this out and it worked.
I have a 4 year old Pro and it used to have RROD.
I didn't send it to Microsoft cause it was flashed.
Tell me if that works for you,
    Cheers.

Does the new Slim model still RRoD?

No, because they removed the red LEDs. It could still fuck up though.

So it can basically fuck up like the effects of the RRoD, except without the rings? wow. Way to hide your mistakes.

It only comes with a year of warranty too.
The problems I seen on YouTube about the 360 Slim are pretty meh.
