all right the peson who asked the one about the sun isn't here so i ask one you probably know of it but it's hard if you don't:
you are in a rum whith one door, no windows and three swiches, each of those is concted to a light bolb in the room behinde the door. you need, by leaving the room only once (and not coming back) and after swiching the swiches on and of as you wish, to find out which bolb is conected to each switch.
(don't try to use trick which are obviously not soposed to be the solution becase it is a logic riddle).

 

Use an Alexander the Great solution, bust down the wall.

 

and how will you do that?
besides the wires are in that wall so you cant light any bolb on at all. plus:even if the bolbs work you cannot go back in the room with the swiches. (back to squere 1).

Can you open the door without leaving the room? If so you could open the door and flick the switches.

 

Turning on all 3 switches.

 

you cannot open withput entering or enter without closing the door behind you.

won't do any good: how do you know which switch matches to each light?

 

each of those is concted to a light bolb !!
you switch the one you like the most and tadaaaaaa you have light

 

your favorit swich did not help you to solve the riddle I suggest one of th folowing:
1) you go to couple's therapy
2) you kill it
3)you try solving the riddle.

Hmmm..... six threads (including this one) all about riddles.... couldn't all these be merged to form one thread to keep things in order?

Well yeah, that's my point. Instead of putting up a new thread why not necro post (that is revive an old thread by posting on it) on one of those as it is allowed on this section of the forums.

 

because you cannot revive stuf you don't know of it's existence.

The only reason you say those threads do not exist is because you did not try searching for them first when you put up your thread. Didn't it ever come across your mind to try & see if another person thought of a similar thread & posted it before you could? That sir is sensible foruming, checking to see if other relevant threads exist & posting on them if it is allowed.

Also your riddle is silly & absurd.

turn on switch two and enter room.

the light that is on is connected to switch 2.
the light that is hot is connected to switch 1.
the light that is off and cold is connected to switch 3
