I got my own riddle. 8) Think hard about it ;)

    If you break me
    I do not stop working,
    If you touch me
    I may be snared,
    If you lose me
    Nothing will matter.

Sabrina gave Samantha as many dollars as Samantha started out with. Samantha then gave Sabrina back as much as Sabrina had left. Sabrina then gave Samantha as back as many dollars as Samantha had left, which left Sabrina broke and gave Samantha a total of $80.00. How much did Sabrina and Samantha have at the beginning of their exchange?

    How about this:

A farmer claimed to have found an ancient roman coin while ploughing his field, and show the local antiques inspector. The coin is made of bronze, and has the head of the emperor Augustus on one side, and the date 26BC on the other. The Inspector dismissed it as a fake after one glance at it, not troubling to take a closer look or examination. How did the inspector know the coin was a fake?

the date '26BC' on a coin would be impossible...

People who make them don't want them.
People who buy them don't use them.
People who use them don't know it.
    To what do I refer?

In a distant kingdom lived a king and his beautiful daughter. The daughter was in love with a peasant which the king strongly objects. However, he decided to show his fairness. He gave the peasant a chance. He said he will let the peasant draw from 2 slips of paper, one of which has the word MARRIAGE written and the word DEATH on the other. The peasant agreed. On the way to the castle, the peasant over-heard the king and his knight talking.
Knight:"Sire, how can you let someone like him have the chance to marry the princess?"
King:"Don't worry, I have written the word death on both paper"
Being a clever boy, the peasant found a way and later that day, married the princess.
    What did he do?

    Bronze wasn't invented till later.

He would chose a paper, and then act as if it said marriage and jump for joy. He would then quickly hide or destroy the paper (eat it). The king would be forced to reveal the other paper showing 'death'. To maintain his public reputation he would allow the farmer to marry the daughter.
