Make sure to use an untrimmed rom. I tried a trimmed one and it failed with a 0byte file output. The patcher will trim the rom anyways, so just have it untrimmed when you patch.

Apperantly, would you kindly explain the precise steps you took while attempting to patch a clean rom?

 

i made a folder named mario. then i put xpa-ml3.bat, xdelta.exe, xpa-ml3.crack, and xpa-ml3.nds in the folder. i double clicked xpa-ml3.bat but when that small black screen pops up it says that the patching failed and it creates a 0 byte cracked rom

 

On what OS are you?

 

windows vista.

 

Try This :

Download this, Run xDelta GUI.exe.
Select Patch : xpa-ml3.crack
Select ROM : Mario Original ROM
Apply Patch and wait until Finish. Size of PATCHED ROM will be 89.2 MB (93,613,056 bytes)

he/she said they got mario luigi bowser's inside story to work on
his/her r4 usin yasu or ys menu.

try to use google to find it.
i typed in google..."r4 fix mario luigi bowser"
and found it on a forum...(checked about 10 pages of google)

Damn it, second time I've typed in something to do with this game in Google and a link has tried to install a virus on my comp -_-. I'm glad my laptop dies out when i pull the cord.

 

It's not working on my R4i, but I'm not worried. I'll play Scribblenauts while I'm patiently waiting for the eventual patch. It'll come like it does every time. Thanks for the great work, hackers!

R4 Update. Just so everyone knows. The Patched Version will work with the R4 SDHC version. I tried this on both version and only was able to get it to work with the SDHC version.

Hey Jonkswa. The only version of BIS that works on YSmenu is the Japanese version.
