Resident Evil wasn't too bad, not great either, but its a decent watch on cable, now Street Fighter thats a whole new story of movies that really suck.
My main problem with the Resident Evil films, is that they have very little to do with the actual games. Minus the Umbrella Corporation, Racoon City, a few characters and ZOMBIES!!!, they were like their own thing. It would have been far cooler to see a proper film of Resi 1, including rabid zombeh dogs. Plus that means eventually they'd make a RE4 movie, which would be completely AWESOME. Get some crazy monk(erf*****)s, a giant rabid version of Sloth from the goonies and the AMAZING laser weapon that insta-kills and that would be an uber-success.
