R4DS Tutorial

    I just got my R4DS card and 1GB kingston microsd in the post today ;D

    I put my microsd card in the USB transflash to format it. I have the option of FAT or FAT32 - should I use the FAT32?

    Also when it says to give it a name in the volume label area, what does that mean? Can I just call it anything, like NDS Roms or something?

    use FAT32.

    Volume label is the name of the card when it is shown in my computer. You are generally limited to 11 characters, so 'NDS Roms' is fine from the length perspective, although some computers may not like the space, in which case use 'NDS_roms'

    Hi everyone, I have an r4ds, and whenever I select Moonshell I immediately get an error. It'll stay there for a couple seconds, but it goes away very quickly. Does anyone have any idea on why that occurs?


    It says "An error was detected while to access the disc or file."

    Any suggestion of what I can do? The error message shows up every time I access moonshell, and a few seconds after moonshell starts up fine. Does everyone's do this?
