i don't think that its a big deal, seeing how there are other ds cards out:
in order from best to useless (in my opinion)
    acekard (Original & 2 & 2i)
    CycloDS
    SuperCard DSone
    M3 (M3i)(well preety much R4)
    DS iPlayer
    DS-X
    i could name more.....

but hey, if you have a relative or really good friend in the US or something you could still get one.....but, i don't know if they scan the mail in the UK so that may be a prob :-\....

Customs aren't going to check every tiny package. :) The general consensus is that ordering individual cards to be shipped is the best way to go from this point onward. That's how almost all the people I know (here in the U.K) got them before the ban anyhow.

    No that is false.
Most NDS games ARE indeed from bad quality. Look at Rayman DS, the graphics, BAD, music, BAD, Game control, EPIC FAIL
I agree with that Nintendo must bring out some test systems with some games.
They did put some test NDSi systems with no NDS games in it, but that is crap.

The R4 SDHC I got is the best card I got. R4i SDHC Upgrade 1st gen sucks.
EDGE is decent. It plays most games, but sound is horrible with some games. (I wonder if the next update fixes it?)

If only the R4's are blocked, I recommended EDGE or iEDGE.
SuperCard DSTWO if you want GBA and NDS games on your DSi.

I've tried playing DS/GBA games on the computer before, and the experience isn't nearly as good IMHO. Not the emulator's fault, but a keyboard can't replace the d-pad and a/b/x/y buttons adequately.

Whether or not most DS games are good, there are still a great many good and briliant games for the system; Rayman is just one game that is terrible. Dragon Quest 9 is a great game , it's for the DS.

I look at the graphics and such, and I didn't find just 10 games with good graphics...

No it is just that they cannot afford €40,- for a flashcard.
    They're not crazy anyway.

A little solution to the problem

1). Gov'ment bans all forms of clone carts for the ds/dsi :-[

2). Manufacturer alters the hardware/firmware a tiny bit, alters the packaging, changes the name.

    -- BINGO --

Cart does not fall into any catagory already banned :)

3). Gov'ment has to write a new bill to ban there carts - usually takes 12 months ;D

4). These carts are now banned :(

    5). Repeat from set 1)

    Problem Solved 8)

People are greedy! They will always go for the cheap option.
