Earlier this morning, former Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi passed away at the age of 85, from Pneumonia. He was responsible for transforming Nintendo from a card-making company into the gaming company we all know today.
Hiroshi Yamauchi was a Japanese businessman. He was the third president of Nintendo, joining the company in 1949 until stepping down on May 31, 2002, to be succeeded by Satoru Iwata.
I dont understand how in this day and age people can die of pneumonia. Last I checked we still have antibiotics.
antibiotics which are rapidly losing effectiveness due to overuse. Not all forms of pneumonia are treated with antibiotics anyway, and some cases are so severe they simply cannot be treated.
