I do-right now I'm psp-got sick of the ds...but I know the ds has more uses...

Right NOW though I don't touch ethier-I got a ps2 in my room now XD

Still...ds for long life and variety-psp for graphics and closer to home console games (more tranditional)

I owned both of it and still prefer the DS for the long list and variety of games. PSP when REAL good games is out but still it would need a longer time to play each of the game.

NDS impresses me by the way they innovate games and controls and PSP was pure graphics to woo me but not much innovation.

I think the Nintendo DS and PSP's purpose of living is different all together.

The DS was made to show a new way to play games, the touch screen.

While the PSP was made to put a power of a console into your hands.

They both succeeded well within their domain. There's innovative games for the PSP, Loco Roco, Badman, Patapon, and 30 Second Hero would like a word with you.

NDS for ti's RPGs and useful dual screens.

I used to have both and sold my PSP, mainly because of loading times.
I like to bring my handheld for a big number 2 after a good meal.
With the PSP, I sit down turn it on, loading the menus, select my game, GTA liberty city stories, loading...
    press start .. loading...
get out of my apartment ... loading ... ah I'm finally out in the city and... oh well I'm already done my business in the bathroom while everything was loading ... too bad.

This would never happen with the NDS!
    Long live NDS!

I am considering getting a PSP again for a few exclusive titles
    Dissidia Final Fantasy
    God of War
    Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
    Final Fantasy VII Crisis core

Note that I would rather enjoy if these games were released on a console. I think these kind of games were meant for consoles and not handheld.

NDS is meant for small children
    the reason?
easier roms (no firmware down to 1.50 just r4/m3/cyclo)
    not many 18+ games

as for the emus there are nes snes gb gbc genesis mame AND psp emulator (i was surprised too)
they say that if you rename an .iso to .nds it will play normally

On the other hand psp has the ps in front which makes it popular
if it was gaming portable for example would you buy it?

The reasons you gave for saying DS is for kids is dumb,to be honest.

The PSP can (poorly) emulate the DS, but the reverse does not hold true.

I have both, and hardly play them-and dude nintendo is meant to be a family company-since they started with that trading card game (hanafuda) they always stuck to that sales range.

Plus they make enough sales with mario based games-plus the system is easier to get going-the psp is annoying to get going at times...

But really it's individual opinion that makes it a "kiddy" system.

When that get's touch screen emulation I'd use it-saves me buying another flashcard for myself XD

    But;
it may depend on person if DS is for kids but DS is not meant for adults, thats a fact.

Like I said, "family" system, anyone can play it, seen the brain traning ads with Olivia Newton John?

Doesn't need violent games to be adult-if anything that's childish now to many parents....

My farther thinks it's childish to decapitate someone in mortal kombat anyway XD

and so will be next year, and the year after that, until a new Nintendo portable replaces it.

    <sarcasm>
yeah, damn those adults playing games like Ace Attorney, Trauma Center, TWEWY, Brain Age, Meteos, Picross, Professor Layton, etc. Only kids should be playing those!
