I don't remember talking about a PSP 300 either. Also, are you talking about the first DS, the DS lite, or the DSi? Be specific!
Hey Databank, The DS console has several versions of its hardware as well, such as DSi, and DS Lite. They are all still considered as "Nintendo DS", so what difference does it make for the PSP having a Phat 1000, Slim 2000, or a 3000 version models? Also, regarding the PSP 3000 model "costing more", you couldn't be more wrong. It's still selling at the same price as the old Slim model was ($169.99).
YOU brought up the PSP 300 (which doesn't exist). There's a PSP 3000, but not PSP 300. Also, you just admitted to being as guilty of version fraud as Hypr was.
YOU were the one who made a big deal about versions, not accepting the PSP 3000 as evidence for argument, yet now that you're guilty of the exact same thing, you call US immature. I'll call this V for victory. Angel-: 1, Databank: 0
Some people are afraid to sink to certain people's level, Databank. I don't know what "afraid" means.
We ARE discussing about comparisons of the PSP and the NDS. It's just that you are providing terrible and erroneous reasons to support your opinion on why the NDS is better, in which we, 'the other users' find it necessary to correct you on. And yes, thanks, tehuber1337. I believe my question for you, Databank still stands:
I've never had any rotation or gripping issues on my PSP's analog stick. Besides, if it were so large as to stick out, it would defy the purpose of the Playstation Portable.
So? The PSP analog stick being "small, flat, and plastic" does not make it "poorly designed." In fact, you can take a PSP game, like Monster Hunter and control your character with the analog stick with no problem at all. Also, as tehuber1337 pointed out, making the stick bigger would make the PSP bulky, which is counter-intuitive as a portable gaming system.
Back to this again, huh? This is the same person who has never played an online game, or any Final Fantasy , hates cell phones, hates youtube, AND (Dun! Dun! Dun! Dun!) uses crappy sources (if any) to back up arguments. Talk about getting rejected by the NERD clans...sheesh! Now if only my PSP had two joysticks...
Come on? Anolog stick is the best part of the PSP. And it is "not small, flat and plastic", it's just the right size for a finger, its not flat and its plastic becouse plastic doesn't hold sweat (totally guess).
oh fuck, someone defended the DS wrong. the PSP analog nub is fine, well i like the PS2 one better, but it's fine nonetheless. also, PSP, PSP3000, whatever, it still is the PSP. anyway, whoever said Mario is a hindrance rather than an asset is a total idiot. I bet if the Crash Bandicoot took off as Sony's mascot, Sony fanboys would say "well we have Crash fucking Bandicoot!!!11one". See my point? Besides, why would a protagonist of the best game of all time (Super Mario Bros.) be a hindrance at all? The only one that thinks this are the guys who think they are too cool for Mario.
"Mascot" or no, that doesn't have any impact on whether a system is better or not. This, folks, is what's known as a fanboy statement.
PSP probably has better graphics but the games are lame and ds graphics are becoming more advanced such as professor layton and devil survivor.
Why is that a fanboy statement? Almost everyone i asked why they chose the PSP over the NDS says that they don't want none of Mario because they think his games are for kids, or his game isn't as challenging anymore, etc. That's no fanboy statement i just said, its the truth. You just can't see that because you are buried way too deep inside Jack Tretton's Sony-loving ass.
Here are some good PSP titles that have came out (some recently) that you won't find on the DS: * Monster Hunter Freedom Unite * Final Fantasy: Dissidia * Pangya Fantasy Golf * Final Fantasy Crisis Core * Star Ocean - First Departure and Second Evolution * Phantasy Star Portable * DJ Max Portable 2 Also, soon to be released: * Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep * Soul Calibur - Broken Destiny * Tekken 6 * Phantasy Star Portable 2 Lame games? I don't think so. I just played Dissidia (which came out recently), and I have to say, it's fucking awesome.
