NDS, not because I'm a Nintendo fanboy, but because they have games that appeal more to me.

At first I thought the PSP was the best but the DS is definately more entertaining.

PSP can clearly do everthing ds can and more. Can ds play music? video? movies? emulate from other consoles?

Right now i am playing Sonic Advance 3 (GBA) on my PSP for free, i didnt buy it, i just downloaded it free. i also have lots of other classics like Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart 64.

I admit that ds is more inovative but i dont like the graphics or gameplay (the touch screen annoys me).

    Think about it.

if you say the psp can do the stuff the ds can you're crazy. because the psp can't play ds games because there are touch screen. sorry psp.

But then again the DS can't play PSP games because they're too graphic heavy.

Well no, I don't actually have a DS so I can't tell you how to do it. I do know that some people use their DS as a MP3 player etc.

OK well my sister has a DS and she only plays pokemon games and i find them very monotonous. But so is Burnout i guess.

I still like my PSP i take it everywhere and it is my portable entertainment.

Pokemon is a very boring game yeah. :p
But there are other more interesting games such as Advance Wars and other RPGs. Not to say that the PSP doesn't have excellent games, I'm particularly fond of the Monster Hunter game.

a little bit i guess. I loved the yellow way back on my black and white Nintendo brick Gameboy which i bought 3rd hand more than 11 years ago, but i'm not all over the diamond and pearl after i got my DS.

On the other hand, i can't let go of Ouendan 2 and Taiko no tatsujin. I love hotel dusk too. I'm actually taking a break now because of yesterday's 5 hour ouendan marathon and my wrist actually hurts :-[

oh did i mention the NDS is a bit like a chick magnet?

and how in the world is a psp going to play high quality movies?... about the other question, i think it's simple... send the videos to the microSD card... i do not know the format they are supposed to be... (.wav, .avi, ...)

High quality as in movie quality or video quality? lol. OK serous, I see my friends just loads up movies or animes into his memory stick and shove it up his PSP, and it seems like it is powerful enough to just play whatever he put in.

For my DS, i don't have a play-yan, so everything convert to .dpg file and run on moonshell, which is just decent enough.

DS playes MP3 just fine, although i'd like the volume to be louder, even with a headphone. But an in ear monitor will do fine, nicked one from my friend and tried it, although the problem is that you won't hear anything else anymore.

If you're a resolution freak (guess everyone is) then PSP is a sure win in term of high(er) definition video. It has two and a half time more pixels than a DS, nicer pixel density, makes me wish DS has 320x240 resolution instead of 256x192. But both of them are hardly "HD" so doesn't matter too much to me for what i'm using them for... ::)
