I think there's a site called RomUlation. It seems to be pretty damn awesome. I wouldn't know though.

type ds howmbrew on google. it'll come up with site

    Agree 100%!!

    Hahaha!

I love my PSP. Would love to have a DS simply for the sheer number of titles. However, on my PSP I can play PSX games, GBA, SNES as well as the PSP games themselves (and there are some great titles out and some great titles announced), as well as a host of other emulators. I know there is emulator support for DS too but for me PSP just edges it, even though the DS is great too.

psp is better at emulators than ds
the only ds emu i've got working was one of the gameboy color emu's
the snes ones glich and theres a supposedly a good one for neo geo which only plays converted roms even though the converter dosent work (or at least i couln't get it to work)

    DS Is Better For Me.
The Only Problem I found with The DS Is The Hinge.

It Can Crack,And I Think Mine's About To Say Good Bye...:(((

true, but why buy a console just so you can play emulators on it?

if i want to do that, ill buy a pc instead.

Because playing it on the PSP is much better than the PC. You don't have to worry about awkward keyboard controls if you don't have a decent gamepad. On PSP the quality is great and it's so much more entertaining. Working on the same principle, I can get a DS emulator on my PC whilst PSP emulators are terrible.

You may as well go for those China-ripoffs or the GPX since the fo well for emulators too :) and cheaper to boot.

You can't get a decent emulator for DS on the PC due to there is no Stylus experience on it and you need a pretty decent PC to run a decent emulation.

PSP games and others emulation you just mentioned run not much a prob on the PC with no much power demand. You could always get yourself a decent controller if you need too.

I do agree if you say that you could play emulation on the go (portability) then it's a good point. I did played a few titles on the PSP but PSX emulation is still a control prob if it gonna need all L and R buttons or both Analogue Stick.

If it's on the 1st party game then I will have to say DS pretty owned the PSP unless they can rebound in the coming years with the better title like the MGS, GranTurismo and Lil Big Planet. Like what I always said, it got the potential but not being used properly....emulation must not be the main seller of a console no matter how good is it.

    Just my 2cents.

It's called a mouse. Also DS emulators are much better than PSP ones; PSP requires a great deal more power to emulate than DS.

PSP is not just good for emulation. I rather enjoy the PSP games. Crisis Core, Manhunt 2, Castlevania Dracula X, Metal Gear Portable Ops, Killzone, Infected, God of War, Syphon Filter....just to name a few fantastic games. True, the selection is not as huge but there is quality.

This is truth. The DS emulation isn't perfect but it is way better than PSP probably ever will be (at least in the foreseeable future). DS emulation works near perfect on my computer and I have a pretty average PC specs. In fact, I have completed a few DS games on an emulator before deciding that I am better of getting a PSP. I believe the difference is little, but PSP edges it for me due to the power of the handheld and the volume of gaming on it (emulators and PSP titles). As for the DS, until I can afford one, for now if I feel the need to test it I will play on an emulator.

I own both-but my preferance is the ds at times...

But latly, it's the psp just for emulating, and the fact that I'm so cheap I might not bother with a second acekard...

...A retro battle ship, that is what my psp has become..sure the ds emu's are good but they won't get as far as the psp one's, in terms of power and systems emulated (dreamcast is the next project-whether it works or not doesn't make any differance to me, just the finaly result before it's given up on is what I'm after...)

That and it lets me use the psx games that were once exclusivly used on my laptop...

Now that I think about it, I'm leaning on psp side-and I call myself a diehard nintendo fan XD

(then again sony will never see any cash off me, second had console , and only buying new games from namco, konami, and sometimes SNK with metal slug games :) )

Do you write with your stylus? :)

But I understand your point there but what are the point of having a console that is overpower so that it can emulate older gen games? Not that I have any issue on it, in fact I am glad coz my PSP is also my Retro Gaming machine is just that it's a pity that it is a bit under used by developers. But lately it seems like emulation of console had became harder and harder to achieve even its a handheld. But truthfully, I don' see much game on a PSP that I would die to play on an emulator since most the games are already on the PS2.

PSP is all the horsepower but nowhere to gallop.

Lolx, then I am speechless and you had a very big NDS :p.

Nothing personal or hate PSP just that was hoping it could be the next BIG thing.

I agree with you that it is underdeveloped. Very much so. It has so much potential. It is sad that the game library isn't as bit as the DS and it has been around for much longer, but do you see my point at least? There is just all that ability to play retro games. As a huge RPG fan this is awesome to me as I have options to play PSX, SNES and GBA rpg's to my heart's content. At the same time there are some wicked PSP games too that are exclusive to PSP (for example Killzone: Liberation which is a great game). With the DS you are just limited to DS games.

I am also saying that while DS is great, to me personally PSP is just a tad better. It's just stupid when people say "PSP sucks" and they can't justify why it "sucks".

i dont think that the PSP is under-developed, i mean it IS miles better than the DS in terms of sheer power. It's just that publishers choose to make games for the DS because:

    1) it's overwhelming popularity and
    2) creating games is much easier because the games are muich smaller (loony, correct me on this if im wrong, because i know you're a programmer).

Not necessarily. That would just mean it's quicker to develop. Also, PSP would have things like 3D.
