That's a constant among The Sims games, no matter the console or the version.

I own an NDS and have played around with a PSP. I like how the NDS folds open and is smaller then the PSP. I love the touch screen. There are far more NDS games too. PSP is more money and most PSP games cost more then NDS ones.

My main gripes with the NDS are the graphics suck, no built in software (Web Browser, PIM, Multimedia, etc), and the biggest complaint, the thing is a piece of shit when it comes to durability. The NDS is made to break. They want you to have to buy another one.

Lastly, this year Nintendo turns 24 years old. When the hell will their balls drop?! How about some adult games? I am tired of little kid cartoon RPG's. Yes, there are some good ones but come on; at least reach the full capability of a Teen rating, never mind to supposed joke of a Mature rating. I am not saying every second of every game has to be sex and violence but come on, throw me a fucking bone here. I guess with shitty graphics it does not matter if my little cartoon of a guy actually bleeds or not but still, how about appealing to that ungodly number of people who own a DS that are post-puberty.

I may buy a PSP just to play Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII if I can't find a quality PSP emulator by the time Agito is released..

As someone who got a PSP a few months after release, I can say that it's library is quite restricted and that's pirating games as well.
The NDS, I got sometime afterwards (NDS Phat), has a larger library and more variety but there is quite a casual theme in quite a few hundred of the games.
Overall, I'd probably say i play my DS more than my PSP but recently I have been playing a lot of Ace Combat X on PSP (really good game, never really played the Ace Combat series or any flight games).
P.S. can't wait for GTA on DS, it means that GTA will truly have gotten back to it's cartoony roots (closer to the Saint's Row 2 graphic styling than GTA 4's) and they will have spread across Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. A true franchise in all senses (not like that dodgy CoD)

    Hmm...I've both PSP and DS.
I dun play PSP much I only use it to watch videos and sometimes go online when I'm out.
PSP games dun appeal as much to me though the graphics are much better than DS games.

I've have my DS way longer than my PSP, but my PSP have been sent to repair for much more times than my DS...
well, actually the DS hasn't give me any prob yet(and I definitely ill-treat my DS more...lol)..oh well...

I asked my daughter what she wanted a "PSP" or "NDS"?

She tells me that she wants a "NDS" because the "PSP" doesn't do anything lol, :D

I ended up buying her a Nintendo DS Lite (NDS) and she is happy :D

Yup and there are others which are more 'uber-tastic' like Jump Ultimate Stars!

This is a tough one. While the innovative touch-screen controls and variety of games makes the NDS the obvious choice for gamers, the PSP with its multimedia capabilities makes it quite handy at times.

I bought my DS Lite because of the games and the fact that I already own a multimedia player.

I have both a ds and a psp and in my point of view the ds is infinetly better than the psp. Sure psp might have gems like resistance, god of war, and wipeout. but the ds has far more variety and generally has better gameplay than psp games. most developers have lost confidence in the psp as you can see by the incredibly low amount of games released each month.the area where the psp is better is the multimedia point of view. you can watch films, listen to songs and even download small games off of the playstation network. the nintendo ds is also alot more portable than the psp because of its folding screen.

to sum up, they are both great consoles but to me the ds is better alot better

did i say PSP gameplay was bad? I don't think so

so you're saying that graphics < gameplay, but you also said that PSP gameplay isnt bad either.

are you saying that NDS games have better graphics?

No i did not say or mean that either. I threw that statement out there because you said "graphics alone != quality" This doesn't necessarily have to be about PSP and NDS. Why do you always have something to say about someone, like your trying to best someone.
