about cheats yes there are 3 plugins i know that uses a cheat databse, they are TempAR, CW Cheat and DarkFrost

And CIPL Flasher, is A RISKY Flasher, I writed data to the flash 0 SO the custom firmware can be permantnly installed, so you dont have to keep on loading pro update.

Fast Recovery, Boots into PRO CFW at a faster rate than proupdate

    yes FIRST UNINSTALL CIPL FLASHER
    then UNINSTALL PRO
now downgrade or upgrade your official firmware

BTW those words in caps are because its very important you do so :3

Joel add to the main post, why you need to install first pro update then fast recovery (i dunno really, all i have is that in theory pro update writes to the memory the adequate path for fast recovery to run)

Great thread, but I have a question and I hope it's ok, but I haven't played with my psp from a ling time ago, and I remember having to unlock/crack it with ChickHen R2 with the OFW 5.01, so now it seems there is another way to do it, but, does it work for my psp? (I guess so, but I want to be really sure, because I remember it being unhackable) and if it works, are there any advantages over the ChickHen R2?

Well, thanks in advance, and sorry if I'm too late to the party.

Well what PSP do you have? psp 1000 (the old fat one, with the big ring), psp 200, (a partially fat one with a thinner ring) or a psp3000? the slim one with the thin ring?
and Id suggest you update your cfw to 6.20

and btw my brother has a psp 3001 with 6.20 PRO-C (permanent)
its easiy(make sure chickHen is uninstalled)
first download the 6.20 update (eboot) http://www.mediafire.com/?1ixpanv7z6gy7to and Copy the UPDATE folder to PSP/Game
second Update your psp ofw to 6.20 (make sure your battery doesnt die at this point)
    then download 6.20 PRO -C : http://cf6d84fb.linkbucks.com/
Then Copy (PROUPDATE, Fast Recovery, And Permananet patch to PSP/Game Folder)
Now on your psp Run PRO UPDATE and follow the instructions on the screen
After that youll return to your Psp menu(XMB) then click Permanant Patch and click yes (x) to install patch, And no(O) you wont report it

Thank yo so much, I had some troubles finding the PRO C because the link didn't work, and then it didn't unzip, but now everything is ok and my PSP is up and running.
