Ps3 price cut is coming. Fast!

So basically, should I go for a PS2 or a PS3?

cause seeing that the price is going to drop so low, I dont see why I shouldn't get a PS3, but is the quality of the games comparable?
like PS2's games are better or PS3's?

 

I wont deny that Ps2 have a lot of realy good games.

But you will need to live the fact that you are paying for something that you will never see something fresh.

And about the quality... well that depends on the game.

Since the big ones already moved to ps3.... or should have.. since we can fin tons of Ps2 exclusives at xbox and Wii ....

Anyway. Did you checked the price of the Blu-ray disc on your area?
Blu-ray disc in my contry are realy expensives from what I heard about.

Its like... 5 Blu-rays pays the price of a new Ps2 \o/ (Yes, the console, not the original games )


But to help you a bit. I would say ps3, if you do have the money to buy one.
I realy dont see the point of buying a old generation console. Just go for the new.

Ok, since the price of the ps3 is good, there is any "must-play" game on ps3 at all?

So far I am only interested on DMC4 , maybe the new FF. But i can live without.

even if ps2 is an old console it still gives the owner great entertainment.
i mean it has a large library of games and it can play psx games. unlike the ps3.

 

PS3 can play PSX games, but not all can play PS2 games. So that's not a good reason to get a PS2 over a PS3. The biggest reason would be if you had a PS3 that couldn't play PS2 games.

lol I just learned ,the amount of game they sold is 190 Million.
So yeah ,there is no way Sony is in trouble.

 

Price will maybe drop by 100 $/€ or whatever, Wii and Xbox will no longer sell if it's before the holidays!

 

God of War III is my main reason I even want a PS3, but as for "must plays" not sure heard Resistance Fall of Man and Resistance 2 are good. The other games I can think of right off are on both PS3 and 360 GTA IV,Fallout 3 and so on.

 

I bought my ps3 for God of War. I only knew GOW as a major game ,and I think thats a really good reason to pass 360.
