PS2 Games on a PS3.

    never had an issue with PS2 compatability, but yes, the newer PS3s don't have any.

    idk where your gettin your info from TirithRR, but i happen to work at target in electronics dept (woo go me, naht) and we only have 2 ps2's on the shelf and none out back. ps2 is being phased out completely very soon, as we were told by the sony rep. hopefully they make a way to play ps2 games on a ps3 (besides the select few) but i seriously doubt it (and thats why i have an xbox360) also! buy the cheap cheap ps3 and u can put just about any HDD in it, 160gb is a waste.

    I'm going by my local Wal-mart. Which has ten PS2s on the shelf, and who knows how many in the back room.

    well i suppose if you were lucky enough to get a 60gig you could swap the hard drives!
