Hi! I'm playing it on a original R4 with latest Kernel but my bf is has a r4 clone, he was playing it but when he wanted to continue a little later, his save file was corrupted and he had to delete it. Is it because he has a clone?

what!? why would you want that the dutch release is horrible The voices are waaaaay to high, and it's way to hollandish, which makes it really irritating to play it for flemish people. Besides, it's much more fun to hear it in english, since it's located in Londen. Also, the first game wasn't translated into dutch, so if you're used to their voices in english, it's quite hard to switch. Macht der gewoonte I guess

I used 2 hint coins on the first puzzle. lol. Afterwhich, I haven't used a single one. It was easy up to this point, I'm now going to meet the future Luke.

 

I dont like the dutch version,
mostly because of the voice and i think it makes the puzlles les attractive!

 

I like it. Much puzzles get simpler when they are in your own language.

 

its anti piracy does your freind use ysmenu as there will be a fix for that soon

If I would compare this to the 2 prequel, this would be ranked 3rd. I find the puzzles a tad easier (without the S.Hint) and the story is quite revealing in itself. The mystery is half open and the investigation is tedious and unexciting than the prequel. Nothing to make you wonder what would be the mystery 'something' actually is. It is not a bad game, it just falls short than its predecessors.

I still love professor layton though. My 2 cents. Don't flame me. ^^
