I'm not sure if emualton can keep the time and date very well.

If i remember they maybe tools on google to edit the firmware.bin

oh i think i figured out the time/date thing.. played around with Options > change time and date(N)

it seems to keep up to date with the real time and date so i guess its fine. ^^

i dont think i know exactly how to edit the firmware.bin (i might just mess the whole thing up XD) but thanks. ^__^; maybe i'll try it someday

Yes messing a round is a amazing way of figureing out a whole lot of issues :) and worth it any time.

That's how i pick up fast in my own mind, trial and error no harm at all!.

Hi, I know this game has been out for a long time, but I just recently managed to get a new R4 card (R4i 3D, Revolution for DS), and while the main game works, it does not have any music or sound effects (cut scenes/voice acting are still in place), and loading up London Life merely gives me a blank white screen.

I've used Dicaster's AP Patch, the Patch given on this site, two Cleans, RetroGameFan DS-Scene Rom Tool, and I'm still getting the same problem time and time again. Any help with this would be great, thanks!

You need to make sure that each time you decided to try patch a rom, use a clean rom not re-patching an already patched rom. You might also need to check if your R4 has been updated to the latest firmware from it's official website, you could also try adding secondary firmware such as YSMENU/TTMENU or WOOD R4 (which to use depends entirely on what is the exact name of your R4 and it's source website). When using secondary firmware to boot games, it's better to use clean rom. Also refrain from activating too many cheats, especially those likely to conflict with pre-patched rom.

    Hey there.
I'm super late to the Layton-Party, but still, I can't figure out how to run this game. Every rom I tried using on desmume didn't play the video after clicking on New Game and didn't display the keyboard to enter my name so that I had to guess where the letters are.

Afaik there is a patched version that should fix these problems (?), but I can't find it (or I'm to stupid to use the uploadmirrors-link).

Also, I can't figure out (yet) how to use the roms (the ones that "worked fine" on desmume) on no$gba, it will always give me the "the rom-image has crashed" error.

Have a nice day and thanks for any help!
