The hand towel I use eliminates any surface condensation.
Effectively, the only thing touching my laptop is a very cold, dry rag.

having trouble getting my xbox1 below 48c even with the fan set to highest. :( i will have to install 2nd fan into the unit. and also, you may want to install a liquid cooler if your so concerned.

Well, I'm a bit suspicious of this, but PC wizard reports all four of my processors idling at 5.5c

I've just installed the motherboard manufacturer's software and it says 23c idle, which is still really low for an 8.8Ghz effective :)

Temperatures that low are indeed possible, although maybe not with aircooling alone.

Is 8.8 GHz added together from multiple cores or 8.8 per core?

effective, 2.2 per core * 4. Could be 17.6 if I put something in the vacant processor socket :p

arctic silver 5. i'm hooked on it, thermal paste, involves removing the heatsink, cleaning well, applying paste, and enjoying.

loony, how many households can you power if you turn that pc off. :) i can barely afford my 200W power core to run hours a day.
