    im not sure how servers work. and i do know its free if he's sitting next to it.

    but still. although the servers are supported by donation. its still someone paying!

    and how come he gets to be next to the RomU server? its not fair. i wanna hug it.

    I'm not sitting next to them, I'm at the other side of the Atlantic ocean. That's what remote desktop/ssh are used for.

    Also when you rent a server or rack space you only pay a fraction of what the connection actually costs, I believe Patton pays approximately $50,000 a month for the connection that the RomUlation servers are hosted on, but Seph only pays a very small fraction of that, and the rest of the money comes from Patton's other customers.

    speedtests performed using commandline tools.

    more familer with "run" in the start menu?

    command line. it is normally seen in programs that don't have a Graphical user interface.
