    Yeah, I wasn't to hot on it either. (I don't like mecha much) But after watching the first episode, I gave it a chance and then I couldn't stop watching it. It really was a good anime. How far did you get into it?

    Give it at least 7 or 8 episodes before ditching it. The second season is better than the first.

    I don't think it's true simply because I think most weeaboos who enjoyed the show got so butthurt that their favorite character dies that it turned into hate against the parts without him.

    Despite such high reviews, I'm stuck on Clannad. I got about 5 or 6 episodes in on the first season, realized that the movie was released first, so watched that. Barely got through that and I've stopped watching since.

    I think I'm the only person that doesn't care for Clannad that much.

    lol, Well I used to be in love with a video game character, lol, but never an anime character. Then again, she was from Final Fantasy and Square Enix has a habit of making anime-ish characters...

    Yeah, Clannad really didn't look to interesting to me either. I'll give it a shot anyway, but idk...

    I just looked at my Anime History and I plowed through Clannad. Only a few more episodes to go and I'll be done with the first season.

    Clannad is much better than I thought it was. It feels a lot like a dating sim now that I think about how the story is structured.

    Oh, and this gets two awards.
    Most WTF moments, and Longest time to get to the point.
