Well, it's probably the time to make a good list. It also makes us easier to recommend games for new members. There may no new NDS games coming out but feel free to suggest titles you think should be recommended. I'll also update this list if there's a nicely fan-translated games coming out.

Note:
- The "/" indicates the different versions of the same game.
- The number in brackets () are the GameFAQs Rating Average taken from September 2009. The new ones are taken on the day it is added here though.
- Games with (J) or (K) haven't been officially released in English, if they are listed here, it means I think they're playable without understanding of the language or a fan translation is available at GBAtemp's Rom Hacking and Translations forum section. That's why there aren't many great Japanese-only RPGs that are listed here.

Yeah, good job - It`s just a matter of taste, after all. So the Ratings shouldn`t be taken too serious. b-b-b-uuuut: Fire Emblem - Shadow Dragon 67 %????? wow.

This will become be very useful, especially for new DS-Users.

Kamui, I might suggest you put Spoilers on every Genre to avoid this long post. This can also be convenient for, us, ds users to search for a specific game in a specific genre without dragging much.

Good Job with the list! I didn't even know there was a sequel to Megaman ZX. DL time.

As mentioned before, I also wouldn't recommend relying on ratings to serve as a replacement (or even an indicator) of quality. Word of mouth tends to be really reliable, especially from specialized communities like ROMulation. You can especially rely on people who love discussing game design. Sure, you'll run into some jaded faces (mine included ) but for the most part they have seen and played a lot of games, and they can recommend the right game for almost anyone.

tl;dr version: word of mouth > ratings

Could use Metacritic scores instead. ^^;; That's kind of a pain to look up all the games all over again...

I agree though Sarah Kreuz, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon was much better than that review suggests. It has a Metacritic score of 81, which is more in line with what it deserves, imo.

I'm not against GameFAQs, & do look at their reviews once in a while when I want a deeper impression of a game, but honestly, I think the users there do better walk-throughs than reviews. <_<

Thanks everybody! I will try my best to keep the list updated.

As for the GameFAQs rating, it's there because it's much better to order the list with it. The numbers can be removed as well but I consider to keep it there. At least until we can find a better way to play with the game orders...

I actually have thought the Favor System:
- For every month, each user may choose to favor up to 5 games/series from each genre.
- The most favored games will move on top of the list, ignoring the GameFAQs rating it holds.

Something like that... but it'll require lots of work to keep everybody's favors. So I won't do it for now.

maybe you could separate some of the clump from 'Action/Adventure Games' to 'Platformer', Other than that good job :]

I don't think it needs a favor system, surely too complicated.

(also '2' is missing from the second Nanostray)

Fixed. Thanks for the notice. I may have some mistakes in moving the genre from Action/Adventure to Platformer though, haven't played all of them.
