You know what you should do with that winamp toolbar.
Place it at the end of the taskbar, make sure the option "always on top" is set on.
    Happy days.

I minimize the winamp bar, so it's just a small thingie that I can leave in the bottom, I prefer it there anyway

Of course you don't have an awesome picture of Hitagi do you? ::)

    IT'S MAGIC TIME!!!

do you have anything to reinforce that statement because a digital picture won't speak on its own.
nice desktop, whichever one it is :\

not to be rude, but no shit. it's right there.

I was able to make XFCE do everything that Aero glass does in Vista/7 for several years before those two were launched... Compiz made that possible, and now XFCE supports compositing (transparencies, shadow effects that sort of thing) so Compiz isn't necessary. The way that the Windows 7's task bar is set up is easily possible with XFCE as well using the applet by the name iconbox, which has been around far longer than windows 7. The first image, all I have to do is apply a nice Icon theme and blam you wouldn't know the difference.

also I goofed in my thoughts. Yeah I should have been more careful how I posted XP next time I will proofread a little more.

(just a minor update to correct some grammar...)

everyone that sees it likes it. but I am talking about the early stuff. before beryl was recombined with Compiz to make Compiz Fusion (exploding windows, paint with fire, windows folding up into paper airplanes and flying down to the task list etc.) the early Compiz didn't have much. It was like what you see Aero glass to be now and a little more.
