    i don't think custom themes would use that much RAM... do they?

    no it uses them, but way less in 7
    for example, my custom one would take up to 75% in Vista, but in 7, about 20%

    it's a custom theme, I remember he gave me one with Evangelion =3
    just look on google for custom themes on your desktop

    You need the uxtheme patcher to use custom themes though.

    Application font is Aurulent Sans, desktop font is Droid Sans, and the window decoration font is Segoe Black.
    Running applications are:
    • Pidgin
    • Firefox
    • Caffeine
    • Evolution (on my other workspace)

    The next long term release (meaning it'll be supported for 3 or 5 years (can't remember which)) is to be released in like a month, so you might want to hold off until then.

    There are things much better than Ubuntu... I personally prefer OpenSUSE or Fedora to Ubuntu

    I have Ubuntu 9.10 disc that I got in the mail a few weeks back, so it'll just be easier to install on my empty partition

    And clean it, man... I found an Flash Player install file, can be deleted.
