I'm almost done transforming the look of my XP into Windows 7... just a few more tweaks and I've got it... Also, it's hard finding wallpapers I like for dual monitors, especially when there's a rather large space between them... so I just make my own

did your disc drive rev like an engine during install? when i tried to install several times(i didn't know i was supposed to turn the other boot settings on), my drive sounded like a chain saw for a minute when reading the disc.

nah cause my copy of 7 is an upgrade disc, so what I had to do was reinstall Vista so I could upgrade it to 7
did it the long way, but who cares, it's working

    Don't like Rocketdock.
First thing why: "this wonderful video"-- Don't like that. They are doing like the best.
Second thing why: I don't like the only interface it has.
    HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!!!!!

Well obviously they are doing their best in the video. Its a thing called marketing? Though there isn't any money involved.
And there is a ton of addons, themes, etc. for you to change the way it looks.
    Obvious is obvious

I got just about everything I did from here:
    http://www.askvg.com/transform-windows-xp-into-windows-7-without-using-customization-pack/
they've got everything you need to create a custom 7 look with almost no use of third-party programs... except for desktop icons and the large icons on the taskbar.

Now, here's some superheroes showing that this really is still XP...
