Speaking of Avatar...

I enjoyed the first half of the first season of Avatar: The Legend of Korra and I can't figure out why fans of the first series (Avatar: The Legend of Aang the Last Airbender) disliked it so much.

 

I couldn't be bothered to get into any episode of it.

 

Nostalgia. Aang was a hell of an avatar we grew up with. then we realized that korra existing meant Aang died and our childhood avatar friend was gone for good. No avatar can match the original series, they can get close but never surpass it. Korra is alright but its just bitter sweet knowing all the characters you got invested in aside from Katara are dead.

 

I didn't want to be on the next page. :<

 

yeah, i dont know as well, i enjoy legend of korra as well.. the only problem i have with korra is that is too short...

yeah, too bad the only living member of the original team is just katara, i kinda want to meet adult toph.

but atleast aang didnt stay dead... he is living in spirit world like the rest of the avatar reincarnation... too bad he only appear in the final episode...

 

When Aang appeared before Korra during the last episode I was kind of hoping that he'd appear as his twelve year old self

 

I dont just want to meet adult toph, I wanna meet the brave man who helped her spawn lin

 

On one of the few uploaded copies of Legend of Korra episodes on Youtube somebody mentioned that Lin's father could be Sokka, to which I felt nauseated.

 

considering Lin's personality, its hard to believe that sokka is the father... hell its already abit hard to believe lin is toph's daughter...
