It's black, it's just the camera/effect used.

My hair isn't like that normally, when I took the picture the camera made it look more dark blue than anything, so I removed most of the instances of blue in the image. On that photo It looks a lot more saturated and patchy than in real life.

My hair is purple, but It's more in a brownish sort of way, not like that. o.o

I'll take another photo with a different camera soon enough, the current one I have cant pick up warmer colours properly. ;P
