Peter H. Gilmore is one dude representing the "Church of Satan," which is like saying the Pope represents everyone who worships God, which obviously isn't the case. Satanism has many different sects, one being "Atheistic Satanism" so in answer to your question "i don't understand why some atheists said they don't believe on the extraordinary, but why would they believe demons and satan" a) the majority of atheists aren't satanists (for crying out loud) and b) right in the satanism article it explains:

hopefully that clears things up a little.

i did said satanism began with atheism and was wondering why some of them (obviously not majority) would believe such things like satan. and as i said some, i am including that Peter guy and my question came out of his saying satanism began with atheism. even if he does or doesn't worship satan, that dude still represents the cult and his ideas influence the group. if they're just regarding satan as a symbol and telling there's no God nor Devil, then why would they call themselves satanists, and their church as 'church of satan', and their bible as satanic bible. i don't know anything about the different sects of satanism, atheistic satanists, apatheists, or any other names you'd like to call it, and i don't want to know anything about them. they're all just names, why would they pick satan to establish a religion of their own, they could have called their group as spongebobism, they must love satan that much? anyway, i'm using the words 'why' but i don't need answers, i guess you're right that you cleared things up a little.

I think I see what you mean..and lol spongebobism....
    edit:
I don't think she means that all atheist are devil worshipers...
She is saying (i think) that all, if not most, satanic people, don't believe in god, only in their 'god of destruction'.
So there are roots connecting atheism to satanic cults.
There are different satanic cults... some believe in a war against good and evil, some only believe that evil rules us all etc....

You cannot be islam. Islam is the name of the religion, Muslim is the name given to followers of the religion named Islam.

    Fail :p

Hinduism didn't come from Judaism & is equally older than it is.

Daoism, Buddhism & Shintoism came from the east :p

Before Greek/Roman beliefs died & merely became mythology they were themselves a religion that developed not from Babylon.

And what of Voodooism & other Pagan Beliefs?

Voodooism is not a paganistic worship. Those who practice voodoo believe in God but other things as well.

So that "religion" was brought about by an episode of South Park then, the Go God Go! two parter? Or was Pastafarianism around longer?
