Poll: What video game genre do you play most?

i love role playing games! and also everything in sports mean football, baseball and mostly basketball.

 

I'm surprised so little people went for sports, i mean Fifa games sell out overnight.

 

RPG's and FPS's are for me! =D

 

RPG however I consider games like Disgaea and Fire Emblem are RPG.

 

Shooters mostly, with RPG's/Strategy games as well. (Fire Emblem mainly.)

 

I play RPG most.
But sometimes i also play platform games.

 

Oh yeah. I have a shit load of sports games on my DSi. But I kind of count them into the action genre, coz you know, you go INTO THE ACTION...yeah.

If I could vote for a 3rd genre, I'd go for Sports.

As a hardcore gamer i play all genres (except sports, does Speedball count as a sports game?), but why did you limit it to two votes?

I had a hell of a time deciding which 2 genre's are my favorite

I'm also amazed, there actually ARE people who play visual novels!!! <3 yayness <3 and i thought i was the only one It's too bad that people don't like to read, i still remember my buddy's speedrun through Bible Black... the pain

I votes, Rpg and Strategy. But I also like fighting games especially King of Fighter.

 

Not sure why, but I really like RPG and Strategy genre.

Sadly though we can't vote more than that.
If yes, VN will be my third.

 

I play games like resident evil> survivor horror genre...not included

 

oh, no... you must have overlooked it, the survival horror genre falls under the action category ^__^
I can never forget to include that genre cause that is what i play most ;D

It's not really a genre per-se, but I play a lot of "Pick up and play" games.

I only get to play RPGs and Long Adventure games when I'm on break, coz I don't really get the feeling of being immersed into twists and turns of a good storyline when I know that I have work to do.

Dementium is one of the "adventure" games that I exclude, coz it barely has a story, and it's good for a couple hours a time.

 

Sorry girl,survival horror genre can be MMO,Rpg,and even Rts.
The real difference is that most developers prefer to make an action-survival horror.
A very few developers have tried to do a survival horror outside the action category.
I hope you girl be more critical.

 

I play Action, adventure and plateforming a lot... but most of all, I loooove RPGs

 

A lot of RPGs 4 me. Shooters/Fighters are a close 2nd and 3rd. there are a good few others too.
I dont think you can really like only one genre can you?
