With what you said the drama around here uses more modern forms of fear which is, TERRORISM. If you would recall the devestation when airplanes were highjacked and crashed into the trade center. Back in the Bush administration he retaliated in response to the destruction of the Twin Towers based on what he called, "Iraq Resolution." Everybody was Republican then or at least that's what it felt like, since the beginning.

I like to keep in mind that most of the voters are young adults unprepared to understand the consequences of voting. There is an issue of balance and power here. It's not like they too many options anyways. Only certain people ever get elected and they are usually the people with the most money, who know how to make commercial ads and with a lot of knowledge inside the government.

I did a university-level paper last year on the US's political state, including analysis of popular media's influence on the general public. A lot of my research for said paper involved well known modern intellectuals such as Noam Chomsky giving a massive amount of evidence to the right wing lean of most current media outlets. Media's a business, and with only a few exceptions (like, say, the Huffington Post) they back the Republicans. Hell, just look at Fox.

So unless you can give me a properly thought out rebuttal, I suggest you shut the fuck up.

I would be Alaskan Independent, but I'm more affiliated with the Republican party.

The Alaskan Independent party's main principle is that Alaska should be its own country, in case anyone doesn't know.

I'm, a republican but not full fledged. Doesn't News media outlets shift from right to left depending on what the people want to see? (its how they make money).

What matters is the greater good.

It took until my US History teacher explained what socialism was before I could truly differentiate it from communism. Nobody takes the time to explain the difference, and all it does is create confusion. One being an economic system that any form of government could adopt and one being a political system is completely lost on many people, especially of the uneducated, mislead teenage age group.

Even today there is still that Cold War feeling left over when it comes to communism.

I'm an independent voter with a mix of liberal and conservative values. To be quite honest, both, the Democratic and Republican parties piss me off.

I vote Democrat, because Republicans scare the hell out of me.
I still think Democrats are to right winged for my views, and Republicans are just batshit crazy.

I think its funny that level-headed people end up voting for others who are radical. It's kind of pathetic
