Like, no confusion/sleeping/freezing/stunning moves, and no "Agility" or "Smokescreen" and the like?

Meaning you can't freeze two of your opponent's pokemon, can't have two of them asleep...so if you put one to sleep, they switch, and you put another one to sleep, that would be breaking the clause. You CAN however, have one pokemon asleep and another frozen, just not two of the same. These rules originated with Pokemon Stadium, and they're generally accepted as standard.
No accuracy lowering moves or brightpowder, or evasive moves like double team.
These battles are a measure of skill, not sheer luck, so under that condition, using a scope lens on let's say an absol with night slash, relying on luck for it to crit is just using chance to win, instead of skill. Some people on youtube have shown battles using just "hax" pokemon or pokemon using "luck" moves such as my example.
Luck-based setups are generally not used, but there's no rule against using them.
OHKO moves are generally not used either, but there's no rule against using them.

And for the record, agility is not an evasive move, it raises your speed, not evasion.

Up for a LVL 100 No Uber battle, hacked pokemon are OK as long as they are perfectly legal.

Yeah, that was a good match. You Heatran is really fast! I don't do that great in single battles but doubles is good for me.I have lots more pokemon if you want to do it again sometime...

I'm completely new to the battling thing so we're pretty much on the same page as far as singles go.
