It's sad that I have to find your name on a random thread to get to the battle thread or the discussion one.

the only problem is that the other people have to follow suit and post here as well, otherwise I might as well just talk to the wall about the last battle.

And concerning my last few battles, Rest+Sleeptalk is GREAT for almost any team, especially if you got someone that likes to spam hypnosis...

Machamp's 100% hit rate ability is really nice, except I find that even after using DynamicPunch something goes wrong and they never get hurt from confusion...or so it seems...

You sacrifice some base power for a 100% confuse rate.
I NEVER see Cross Chop used. Mostly Close Combat and Brick Break.
Note that this is to only be used by Machamp since his No Guard ability allows him to guarantee a hit against anything, however, the opponent has the same advantage...

Uh,that is very dangerous.The best move I had with Machoke (I'll trade later) is Cross Chop and Low Kick.

It's a big annoyance to whoever is against me.

forte, are you new to the metagame scene?
There's no point running Cross Chop AND Low Kick on the same set.
And on any of the Machamp sets, Cross Chop isn't even used, mainly DynamicPunch and Close Combat depending on your setup.

Yeah,I'm kinda new. I just played it and I just always EV train.Thanks to my cousin who always want to battle me.

However,I'm aware that there are many different strategy and moveset that allow a trainer to make different type of situation.


Most likely,I do not know about it cause beating the story mode is the first priority for me.

What were you using? Dragonite isn't usually fast unless it DDs a few times...

Swampert is a popular choice huh? A lot of ppl are using it. I used it, llopez029 used it too

Which makes Grass Knot very popular.
Lemme guess, you used it as a lead with SR?

As far as the dragonites, he probably had a fast sweeper setup, probably Jolly instead of Adamant.

Probably Adamant with a scarf then.
The only other possibility would be Jolly with CB to accommodate the high attack.
Dragonite's attack is already high as it is, and with an Outrage or some other Dragon attack, you're screwed.

Yea, my dragonite was screwed badly. First round my team were not at lv 100. well some of them. In the second round, we played lv100 single. I did not select lv 100 single in the first round, selected free single instead XD. In the second round my Swampert did most of the work(in the first round was at lv 82)

Ooooo I hate free battles.

I love it when people try using a FEAR on me and it never works because they always get residual damage first. hehe
