Pokemon RocketRed v03-1 (In Production)

we should start editing the maps just pm me the exact storyline (up to the first city or something) and ill start (try to) do some map editing

I think Teddiursa is a good idea for the Snubbull, because it’s pretty obvious why the Rocket thinks its stupid and weak. But of course, it becomes Ursaring. Another idea is Houndoom.

But I think by far the best idea for the Snubbull is Tyrogue. Wouldn’t that be awesome to get a Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, or Hitmontop? By the way I just realized that Hitmonchan is named after Jackie Chan and Hitmonlee is after Bruce Lee.

 

I reckon that the starters should be koffing, ekans and meowth. I'm pretty good with editing extra stuff and maps. If you need help i can edit something for you guys.

Kiekoes@ Its a Fire Red hack where you play as a Rocket Grunt and the story will probably be about TR trying to control Kanto or maybe a different reigon. Due to this project being inherited from Raysie, we're not certain about what we're going to do exactly. I'm off school after this week, so I'll start continuing the hack, but my computer with all my files is getting cleaned cause of a dam virus, so I'll have to see about that...But welcome to the team!

 

can i join the team? i have experience hacking games but never pokemon, but im sure i can learn cause im a fast learner.

 

erm it depends we dont need new pepole but ask asuch he will decide and he might ask questions.

I using XSE and I'm fine with it. Once we start planning, if you want to use some tool that's not catostrophically bad, then more power to you I guess. Our team is starting to come together, so I might set up earlier then expected.

Xtreme Script Editor. Its a lot less buggy then other programs, and I find it quite easy to use.

My computer is still being fixed because of a virus which is one tough son of a bitch, so I can't help right now. If your wondering how I'm posting I am using my phone.

EDIT: I have an idea for the starters that I just remembered. What if we used more then 3 starters, maybe to make things special? I've seen it done before, and it was fun. It was Pokemon White by foullump, and he used all 3 starters from the first 3 gens. You had to pick your pokemon from a menu scrolling up/down. Then the rival would pick from any pokemon that is SE to yours. Like if I picked Charmander, the rival would randomly pick either Squirtle, Totodile, or Mudkip. It won't be those starters, but maybe something similar to that.

 

What about Tyrogue instead of Snubbull? And what was supposed to be inside that blocked out Rocket house?

 

Possibly where the storyline can be revealed and other fun stuff.

Time will tell. We don't have a completely set plan yet. Once we decide I'll post about it...
