Battle Tower is cheating? How?

I have get to start playing again, as I've been very sick. But someone or calvin_0 explain please.

 

I think he means to beat it you would have to cheat as the ev's in the pokemon are amazingly high

 

you mean the IV's? cause in terms of EV's proper training levels that field. it's the IV's that are random

i STILL can't get a flipping water stone for my Eevee... even after finding like a dozen other ones. everything EXCEPT water! -.-"

 

You want the water evolution to eevee? What about Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon and Leafeon?

 

i can get a Ditto and breed for those but right now i need a water type. and the last time i used Floatzel i got my butt kicked

 

Okies, erm isn't there water stones in the big shop

 

not sure, but as far as i know, except for Firered and Leafgreen there is no shop for stones in any of the other games
although... i have heard that now instead of trading shards for almost useless TMs, you instead trade for stones at that person's house. but i'm not that far in yet and Serebii's too laggy to check

 

Battle Tower tend to send out pokemon that is your weakness (if the majority of your team is consist of Fire pokemon, you will offen face Water pokemon) and they use berry to heal them self, something that you cant do since berry is one time use. Thier attack also tend to give critical more offen and have better accuracy then yours.... while your move will have lower accuracy then normal (although that might be a placebo effect)

 

That is so not cool. That is cheating....wow...

 

more importantly, there is something else that RPG heroes, etc... have to face: hoards and HOARDS!!! of enemies

okay let's say you have Toxic. pretty useless if you're facing literally HUNDREDS of enemies without a heal (Battle Pyramid anyone?) now, the very same move used against you? you may as well kiss your butt goodbye in that match. simply there's 3 of you, and infinite of them

and i've noticed that too. it's quite maddening

 

you have to admit it puts your team to the test though XD

 

After resetting for 3 hours i finally did it! i see and capture an Unown A XD

 

I got that first time, try finding Unown Z, too hard...

 

wow you are lucky..... anyway i wish we can more space, i want to collect all the unowns, but i also want to collect every single pokemon, if i do both there will be no space for Event Pokemon, Battle Tower team and Contest team >.<

Try pokesaving your pokemon's data or saving to a different cartridge?

 

nah, as much i like to use pokesav, i dont like to use it to edit my sav file.....

 

No I mean save your pokemon's data on to ya 'puter

 

its the same thing...... i dont want pokesav to touch my save file lol

i been using AR as the middle man ^.^

 

i'm not a fan of using any of these, at least not until i've done everything possible
