Pokemon Platinum!

My favorite Rapid Spinner. Because of its rare role, I'd rather use it as a spinner +3 attacks or bolt beam with recover. Just like the whole Spikes vs. SR debate. Spikes is more rare, since almost anything can SR.

But yeah, Timid Starmie is hella fast.

I'd rather go with bulkier sweepers, with a Baton Passer like Ninjask though...

If you have a Rain Dancer, get Kingdra with Swift Swim and Dragon Dance. Physical spectrum but very fast with Rain Dance support, and bulky.

 

i got my 3rd star last night (battle tower 100 wins), now i just need 2 more stars to get my Platinum Card XD

Now i need to

-Win a Master Rank Super Contest
-Grab 50 flags in underground.

 

Grab your Milotic and go through the Beauty contests. Easy.
Have your friend sit in the underground, park your dude next to his base, grab his flag, have him disconnect, and reconnect, rinse and repeat.

 

Super Contest isnt that easy, you need a proper Moveset if you want to nail the Master Rank.... and ya the 50 flag is just granding, i did that in Pearl......it was extreamly boring >.<

Blue Card = 1 star
Bronze Card = 2 stars
Silver Card = 3 stars
Gold Card = 4 stars
Platinum Card = 5 stars

 

im assuiming stars are certain achievements...?

-Beating E4
-Battle Tower 100 Wins
-Complete National dex (excluding event pokemon)
-Win Master Rank Super Contest
-Capture 50 flag underground

I've read a FAQ on Gamefaqs.com, explaining that a certain pokemon with a certain move set could allow you to sweep through the contests. Doubt it's true, though.

edit: man Master rank is hard >.<, look like i'm need to take some time to get more accessory, time to growth more berry.

 

Do all of the other lesser ranks of each, get the accessory freebies that are supposedly good starter accessories, buy them from the flower place and whatnot.

 

yeh i didnt do master level ...just regular old ULTRA...

contests are lame though man...they should really mix it up in future games...!

I know it's more for the female contingent but they could change it about a bit more...dont you think?

 

after getting some accessory form the flower girl, i finally win the Master Ranks.....just barely, Jasmine's Steelix is so broken.....

nope, she is the steel gym leader from Johto, IIRC she is the one who give you Waterfall Hm after you beat the 8th gym in DP and Platinum.

Oh I'm thinking of Fantina or whatever her name is. I've only done the Beauty contests so that's really the only person that pisses me off. I think they're all cheating bastards.

They've done away with evil Gym leaders, like Giovanni. The Team Rocket of each generation should've had a gym to carry on a tradition...
