    i finally downloaded it.. but it still crashes with the desmume and the nosgba.. was i doing something wrong?.. no cheats, just walked to the field with my cyndaquil and it just froze..

    I would just like to ask what version froze on you ? HG are SS .

    You download the full package above ^^^^^ , some times the firmware and bios can help certain issues .

    Also you may what to use they lastest desmume : http://www.emucr.com/2013/07/desmume-svn-r4691.html

    oh.. im using soulsilver on the no$gba latest version without the zoomer... im playing right now actually, but still have those intermittent crashes.. i cant play 5 mins without saving and hoping it wont crash during save.. haha.. uhm, so where do i download the firmware and bios and where do i put them?.. sorry for being such a noob at this..

    You're suppose to play through No$Zoomer from the package provided for better stability (though crashes still could happen since it's an emulator thus can't be perfect clone of the real console).

    Don't do anythink with the bios are firmware, when no$zoomer is set to run from GBA BIOS (Nintendo logo) it auto uses them .

    And the full package is auto set to run from it.

    Hey im downloading this rom right now and i wanted to know is there any way for me to get my saved game from the heart gold i have been playing to this Patched one? or do i just have to start all over :'(? Im and using DeSmuME if that helps at all.

    Use a backup copy of your save file, rename it to match the ROMS name, DeSmuME uses .dsv file extention , other systems use .sav , so use name + .sav

    It should work, and if not you can try http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php

    (As Noted) always use a backup copy as right click copy/paste , incase.

    SS saves will also work on HG ;D

    When you say saved file do you mean the State save? or my in game save? Sorry I have never done this before lol

    Hello,
    can someone provide the latest patch for HG/SS?
    The patch from this thread still has some random freezes.

    I tried to get the latest patch out of RGF's current DATs with TTDT, but it doesn't work.
    It would be great if someone can provide that patch.

    Please only the patch not a pre-patched ROM. My internet is very slow at the moment.

    Decompress the ARM9 using CrystalTile2 , some of them fixes used out inside of arm9 compresses root, and should be placed into decompressed root of arm9 , and repacked compress arm9 back into memory, locate same address without 0x02

    Well ok. But I can't find those adresses in ARM9.
    In extinfo 0x023FE54C should be 0x3FE54C in ARM9? That adress doesn't exist.

    No that out of arm9 memory, maybe try 0004010 and workout new address , + 50 for patch.

    also 04 F0 1F E5 00 C4 3F 02 might be 04 F0 1F E5 10 00 00 02

    thought you meant the other ones 0001a570 / 000d8c14 / 000de0c8 / 000de0d8

    Hi Jhon!
    First of all I wanna thanks for your works, i had no serious problems until now (I'm actually testing the ROM, played only 4h or so without a freeze), I just wanna signal you a thing. When you walk from start village to 1st sometimes the characters will glitch, they disapper and a simil pixelated square covers all of them, until you enter a door and exit it, but it's not so annoying. I'm using the last desmume available. I also wanna ask you another thing. Could you post EU ROMS translated? I mean, GER-FR-ITA-SPA. I personally need ITA one but if you translate in all language I'm sure that you'll make some people happier. :)
    If you can't - won't , thanks anyway for what you've done.

    Sorry to all but my WIFI Pen have braoken ^ , All try and get back onto all this as soon as I can get a new one.

    I'm using a laptop for a few breath moments .

    The glitch could be emulator/graphical related, unlikely AP at work. So don't think much can be done since it could simply be random occurrence. Jhon 591 doesn't do rom translating. There's already rom for most if not all the official region versions. Unless one of those regions is ITA, then you'd probably need to seek someone who did such language translation, which is quite rare. What Jhon 591 did in here (specifically this topic) is update the AP fixes offsets on top of those existing ones to make them better. Which is what you can request to him; look into the possibility of improving AP fixes for ITA HG/SS version.

    Why not give it a try and find out about it yourself. Waiting for someone to test it for you could take forever.
    Few people play NDS games on Android.

    So, how do i go about it, with my acekard2i and my DSLite ? I'm really new to this. I'm using the akaio 1.9.0 version...and i dont really know what to do, Pokemon heart gold and soul silver just keep crashing, at random places,battles, move changes, moving from a place to another, anywhere , what can i do ?

    First let's get this clear...I don't own an Acekard2i nor using AKAIO as secondary firmware. So don't ask me where to find options within the menu interface of both the Acekard2i and AKAIO.

    Your options;
    1. use clean rom using AKAIO v.1.9.0 (disable on-board AP countermeasure, there's an option in the Acekard2i internal menu to disable it)
    2. use patched rom using AKAIO v.1.9.0 (again disable on-board AP countermeasure)
    3. buy new better flash cartridge since Acekard2i been abandoned by the maker

    *Refrain from activating cheats related to AP FIX and EXP FIX, and don't use too many cheats at a time.
