Can someone upload fully working Heartgold European ROM that doesn't crash/freeze on Desmume? The links are only for US version... unless there's a way to convert my save.

 

The USA version is EUR version to as USA/EUR I should have put, Is was a multi region release as share same game serial .

One more thing just out of curiosity, kinda stupid of a question, but what does the number "4787" at the beginning of the file's name mean?

 

Youre right at 1 point , they share same gameid IPKE , but eu and us are not the same.

4787 - Pokemon - HeartGold Version (USA).nds crc32 4723410A version v1.0

4839 - Pokemon - HeartGold Version (Europe).nds crc32 30E9BF18 version v1.10 fixed some problems in game

ARM9 has same AP fix addresses for all versions.

When it comes down to FRA , GER only the very high RAM changes location, ARM9 remains the same.

Any editing of ROM yes will change the crc32 code for sure.

Yes AP is still the same , but the game part in the EU version has got some fixes that US rom not have.

So problems with US rom try EU rom , maybe it is fixed there , and not talking about the AP .

Check the Emulators Compatability list to see if this game works, if it does use a clean rom.

 

why use clean ROM and not the AP patched ROMs?

 

Its better to use a Clean rom first.
If the clean roms doesnt work, if you get black screens, white screens or pokemon experience or leveling up problems, then you can use a patched rom.

Ya just search and download the clean rom from the main site... if the rom is patched it will be mentioned in the name.
