Hi,

I'm new on this forum and in the world of r4-flashcards.
A friend of me has downloaded a full English working European version of both Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold and on his card (a r4-card Original) it actully works perfect, without freezing or whatsoever.
But when I try it on my card (I have a r4 SDHC card) the game starts and when i select continue (or start a new game, it doens't matter) the screen turns black but instead of playing the game after a second, the screen just stays black.
I've already tried everything I could think off or found, but nothing works.
Can please, please anyone helps me? I've already downloaded the latetst firmware-update (v1.34).

 

doesn't work for me, i have an original r4 and soul silver (E) and it was all good, it would only freeze maybe every 50 transitions, so it was still playable(i just had to save constantly) but after i beat Whitney it would freeze every second transition, i downloaded this patched one and now it freezes every third transition. its a start but i still don't consider it playable, its only 1 more transition than before

 

Dunno what you guys who aren't getting it to work're doing wrong. I patched a clean (E) rom and put it on my R4DS (without YSMenu) and it works even after 24 events. I have the sixth badge by the way.

Just some very few small details like 'hm' or the time on your trainer card is still in japanese, and in a double battle you can't read the names of the trainers (it's replaced by a few unreadable characters), but apart from this it works perfectly fine (for me though). I have already my eight badge and now i'm trying to catch enti and then i'm off to beat the elite four.

 

no worries, Kiekoes link above worked excellently on my r4 and my sisters r4i(i have soulsilver and my sis has heartgold) and none of us have had any problems/freezing/glitches whatsoever.

 

First time I've played a Pokemon game in over a decade and I'm enjoying it, which is quite a surprise.

Also, VOLTORB FLIP IS SO GODDAMN ADDICTING

 

just try downloading the latest firmware 1.19b it works fine right now with the r4i-sdhc.

So does the (E) region download freeze as well as the (U) region download then? As I am trying to play the (U) version and having no luck, I keep getting freezes.
I have the R4 card (which is legit) with the 1.18 firmware.
Any help would be great
