When I clicked on the link:

Nope dosn't work in R4 v1.18
patched SoulSilver freezed after 22 events
same with YSMenu

So i've read through this topic and it leaves me with a couple of questions.
I'm using a R4DS btw.

- Does it work?
- Are there freezes? If so, what's the timeline between the freezes? Like 10/20/30/45 min.?
- If there are problems, what kind of problems are there?
- Is this patch working for the whole game? Not like if I reach for example Chuck that it starts to freeze.
- How do I patch it?
- What do you guys mean with events xD

can you make a tutorial i don know how to do it. i run the 'patch' as administrator then it created a 'HGSS' nds file but it says its '0kb' so it means there's nothing in it. im not sure if thats how you do it so can you please make a tutorial thnx

so i guess the patch doesn't work.....but than again there have been reports on this thread where people say it works perfectly fine on theirs. so maybe it might work on mine.

but i still don't know how to patch, can someone upload a pre patched rom or tell me how to patch? i would love to have a pre patched rom!

Ok a mod please can you close this first to answer your questions

1, No it does not work on the R4DS
2, Neither difference if its clone,ultra,ysmenu etc.
3, The guy who made it is a douchebag
4, The guy who made it is a dud
5, shut up and message the guy instead of pastering this thread with meaningless messages
6, yes I have tried it and no it does not work on r4 1.18 perfectly, if ur lucky like I was u may go up to 26 to 27 events
but it mainly freezes and 24 events alright!

sheese stupid newbs <_< AND NO IT DOES NOT WORK ON M3 REAL ETC. CARDS EXCEPT THE ACEKARD SO GO BUY ONE!

the patch for acekard on the (E) is not out yet..

counterstrike, you say it doesn't work, but some people say it works? maybe i may have the same luck and might a whole lot of other people.

it doesn't even load for me there is a white blank screen just like the regular rom except the regular rom plays music

i tryed... freezed after 24 events i used a normal r4 not a clone with the 1.18 firmware

Go to romulation.net and search for "SoulSilver" or "Heartgold". Pick the (E) release (Bahamut's version). Can't be too hard to find a rom in a rom website, eh?
