hi i have pokémon soul silver (FR) and it dont work on M3 real firmware 4.8 it freeze hope people who have same problem with me

Just wanted to try it out don't get mad. Since r4i-gold is a r4 clone it might have worked. And the ap is the same so it was worth a try...

This is a solution for the R4DS not the M3.

The patcher clearly says that this is not for clones.

hmm well it doesnt work on my original r4 1.18. then again i cant say with a 100% certainty that i do not have a clone (although none of the clone firmwares seem to work with it.. so i guess its original). but i digress

Froze with SS 24 events. r4 1.18 and 1.24 and Ys menu.

Edit: I could have a bad card so you will never know unless you try yourself. If it works for someone else using 1.18 then i will prob re dl the original fw

I notice the patched version is 8 mega bites smaller then the un patched version. Now to me this is a bit worrying, feels like I'm going to play the game for hours then suddenly come across a room sized Misingo.

Is it normal for it to be 8 mega bites smaller ?

why are you using 1.18 with YSMenu?? it...doesnt...work...with......ys..menu!!!!!! and is there a microchip under the sticker on your R4, then its a fake.

The file size dropping that much means that those 8 MB may of been AP. Wow thats a lot

Not using Ys Menu. i was just stating that i tried all three methods. Just the r4 1.18, then i tried the r1.18 with ys menu. then i tried just ys menu and finally i tried 1.24. all of failed.

Maybe its just not my day. but i am playing the jap translation so im not too worried.

Yes, I have tried using my original R4 v1.18 and it has failed too, I also tried using YSMENU and that didn't work either...

wow, the game just froze on me when I exited the Daycare............ ive been playing for over 1 hour though without problems.. and now it not loading my save.. WTF!

EDIT: Dont really give a fuck! I have an Acekard that it works perfectly on

EDIT: Formatting my card and replacing everything make it start loading my save again.

BTW: my little brother has my R4DS now and hes bugging the shit out of me about this game not working.

Alright, so I saved and tried to boot it again, but now my ds won't even show the games. Like they aren't on my card.

EDIT: So now my card does regocnise it.

Im testing mulpiple things on my R4 original now. Like save and quit (Mallemarkie (je naam xD) problem), YSMenu, Event freezen

What is the new game ID ? My cheats wont work since I patched it.
